The ZWO ASI 533 MC Pro camera captures colour images of nebulae, galaxies, the Moon and planets without requiring filter changes. Its square sensor makes use of the telescope’s corrected image field, while its high sensitivity and low amplifier glow make it suitable for deep-sky astrophotography and video astronomy.
Peltier cooling lowers the sensor temperature by up to 35 °C below ambient temperature, further reducing noise. The USB 3.0 connection supports fast image capture, while the DDR3 buffer memory ensures stable data transfer over USB 2.0 as well. An external 12 V power supply is required to operate the cooling system.
