    I was confused by the fact that they have it in the "Pool Chlorine" category, while it is not chlorine that you add to the water; it is for cleaning when the pool is empty. I used it to give the walls of the Intex pool a good scrubbing because it had developed an initial layer of algae (biofilm), with the aim of refilling it with water and adding the appropriate chemicals. So for an initial cleaning I had no complaints; it did its job. It smells very strongly of chlorine and you definitely need gloves because it dries out your hands. I would not have bought it if I had known it is not maintenance chlorine, but since I have it, I at least found a use for it somewhere. Most likely I will use it again when I take the pool down, to clean it before storage.
