I installed them on a Golf 4 with 17-inch wheels and standard tires 225/45/17. As a suspension, it gives you the advantage of height adjustment. I set it low at 5.5 cm but didn't have good damping, so I raised it to about the middle at around 3.5 to 4 cm and everything is fine. They are slightly stiffer than the factory ones, something in between before the semi-stiff ones (I would have liked them a bit stiffer with more immediate damping, but that's just personal preference). The struts are shorter in size compared to other normal shock absorbers. It's an economical solution when you want to lower your car without losing comfort compared to using lowering shocks with springs. The packaging does not include top mounts and bump stops.
