Brahmi powder (Bacopa monnieri) comes from the leaves of the plant. Used topically, brahmi powder is the most effective treatment for hair in Ayurveda. It strengthens the hair, making it shinier, darker, and thicker. It strengthens the hair roots, preventing hair loss.
External use on hair: Mix the brahmi powder with water in a bowl until you get a homogeneous paste. Apply the paste to the hair, gently massaging until the entire scalp is covered. Leave for 1 hour and then rinse with water.
When used internally, brahmi powder is used in Ayurveda as a tonic for the nervous system and helps improve concentration. It also supports the health of the muscular, circulatory, and reproductive systems.
