How to choose the right size

Don’t measure just the seat! To properly cover the sofa including the armrests, calculate the “route” the fabric will take:

• Length (Side to side): Measure from the point where you want the throw to start on one side, go over the first armrest, across the seat, and down over the other armrest.
  • Tip: Add +20cm so you can tuck it into the joints to keep it from moving.
• Width (Back to front): Measure from the back of the sofa, over the cushion, down to the feet of the sofa.

Polyester

Polyester is a synthetic fiber that offers great durability over time and use. It is the number one choice for homes with heavy traffic or pets, as it does not "pull" easily.

Fleece

Fleece is the most "casual" and practical texture. It is incredibly lightweight but provides great warmth. It is the throw you can also use as a blanket while watching TV.

Weaving Weight, internationally known as GSM (Grams per Square Meter), is the most objective indicator of the quality, thickness, and durability of a throw.

While the composition (e.g., 100% Cotton) tells us what the throw is made of, the GSM tells us how "rich" it is.

Indicative Values & Categorization

Light: 150 - 250 GSM

Medium: 250 - 400 GSM

Heavy: 400 - 600 GSM

Very Heavy: > 600 GSM
