It's not cheap, but the quality of construction is good. It doesn't feel flimsy in your hand. I've placed it in a spot that doesn't undergo wear and tear, so I can't judge its durability in 'demanding' conditions; however, the one or two times it received a good shove, it seemed to be sturdy. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is its cost. While it's not very expensive, it could admittedly be more competitive. Otherwise, I believe it's a well-made product very suitable as a gift that helps you out of the sometimes difficult decision of not knowing what to buy: but at the same time, it has character and a nice aesthetic.
