Twisted Paths is the ultimate major addition to the world of Arnak. Its main feature is a new double-sided map, larger than that of the base game, which offers two new research tracks, each with unique mechanisms and elements. On the map, you can choose to explore the day side and climb the white stone of the Owl Temple. It uses unique new temple tiles that, when combined, can become extra idol slots, as well as a third research marker, a jersey, which offers even stronger research rewards.
You can also dare through the night and travel through the dark caves of the Spider Temple. This side uses a new resource, dark tiles, which are used to invoke mysterious altars and place items directly onto the research track to be used when advancing on the track. But be careful—the use of dark tiles can give you powerful rewards, but can also cost you points if you become too ambitious!
