Germocid Disinfectant Powder 500gr is a medical device product for rapid cold chemical sterilization. The peracetic acid formed from the reaction of sodium bicarbonate and tetracetylethylenediamine (obtained after dissolving the product in water) provides effective biocidal action against spores, viruses (HIV, HBV, HCV), bacteria, mycobacteria, and fungi.

With a solution concentration of 1.6%, sterilization is completed in 10 minutes. The product is activated 15 minutes after dissolution, while the solution remains active for 24 hours. It is suitable for rapid cold sterilization and disinfection of endoscopes, surgical and dental instruments, molders, etc. The product remains active even in the presence of organic materials (e.g., blood). In this case, it is better to first clean the device with an appropriate enzymatic-based detergent.
