The object will stay there until the sun goes down. I have installed this hanger in my bathroom because I didn't want to drill holes in the tile. I even hung on it to see if it would hold and it has been there since 2019!!! Now I'm leaving this review because I bought it again to stick a panel on the ceiling that wouldn't stick with any other glue. So the choice was obvious. Lifesaver!
