ERLAC RUST CONVERTER – Rust converter for metal surfaces.

Water-based primer that chemically reacts with rust, transforms it into a stable black compound, and reduces the need for sanding. Creates a protective layer against further oxidation, compatible with subsequent metal coatings.

  • Ready to use – dilute only if required
  • Easy application by spray, brush, or roller
  • Fast drying deep 1–2 hours
  • Compatible with anti-rust/finishing paints

Application surfaces:

  • Metal surfaces (railings, doors, machinery, equipment)
  • Reinforcement bars before repainting/protection

Where to use:

  • Preparation of metals before anti-corrosive or finishing systems
  • Maintenance of rusted surfaces with minimal sanding
  • Restoration works in industrial and residential areas

Coverage: 6–8 m²/L per coat. Recommended application: 1 coat; 2 coats required on new surfaces for full protection.

Application method: Air spray gun, brush, roller.

Thinning: With water, if required.

Tool cleaning: With water immediately after use.

Drying time at 23°C: Touch dry — · Fully 1–2 hours (deep drying) · Recoating ~24 hours.
