Vallejo European Dust Model Wash is a water-based wash for scale modelling, with a matte finish and strong capillary action. It is used to highlight details such as rivets and panel lines, and to create dust and dirt effects caused by wear and exposure to the elements.

It can be applied with a brush or airbrush for quick shading, or evenly over the model as a filter to alter the base colour. It dries quickly; painting or further weathering can continue after approximately 20 minutes.
