Gauze adhesive dressings consist of a transparent, elastic polyurethane film and are equipped with a hypoallergenic polyacrylic adhesive.
The wound contact layer, which does not stick to the wound, is covered on all sides by the film. The film protects the wound from the penetration of pathogenic microorganisms. It is waterproof, yet permeable to vapor, allowing the patient to manage daily body care without soaking the dressing.
The transparent film allows for the assessment of the moisture condition of the wound contact layer without removing the dressing. The dressings are individually packaged in sterile packaging.
