The Aquaphor APRO 500 commercial water filter uses reverse osmosis with two 4″ × 40″ membranes and produces a nominal 500 liters of purified water per hour. It reduces dissolved salts, including hardness salts, by up to 95% and accepts water with a maximum salinity of 2,000 mg/L. It is suitable for food businesses, commercial kitchens, service providers, public institutions, and whole-house water supply.

Automatic flow control regulates wastewater discharge and allows a purified water recovery rate of 75–99%, depending on the feed water quality. The system operates automatically, and its controller features a color LCD screen, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth connectivity with the APRO Monitor app for Android, and the option to connect to an automation system via Modbus (RS485). Pre-filtration is provided by a carbon block filter in an Aquaphor Gross housing.
