This particular TV was bought for the vacation home a few months ago, but an issue that came up with the main living room TV (a 42" LG C3 OLED that developed a vertical line with stuck pixels after 2.5 years of use, out of warranty) made me move it into the living room.
The biggest issue that led me to give it one star is the viewing angles, which are extremely limited.
From the side, or if you stand up a little, you immediately lose image quality. I found this effect quite pronounced (perhaps because I’m used to OLED); obviously these are different types of TVs, but still, this is a major weakness of this particular model.
Otherwise, it is quite fair for what it offers (size, price, colors) and generally, if you use it for gaming/Netflix/PC, it performs well.

Η συγκεκριμένη τηλεόραση αγοράστηκε για το εξοχικό πριν κάτι μηνες, όμως ένα θεματακι που έβγαλε η κυρία τηλεόραση του σαλονιού(42" LG C3 oled που έβγαλε κάθετη γραμμή με κολλημένα pixel στα 2.5 χρόνια χρήσης εκτός εγγύησης) με έκανε να την τοποθετήσω στο σαλόνι.
Το μεγαλύτερο θέμα που με οδήγησε στο να της ρίξω ένα αστέρι είναι οι γωνίες θέασης, οι οποίες είναι πάρα πολύ περιορισμένες.
Από το πλάι ή άμα σηκωθείς λίγο χάνεις κατευθείαν την ποιότητα της εικόνας. Μου φάνηκε αρκετά έντονο αυτό το φαινόμενο (ίσως έχοντας συνηθίσει την oled), προφανώς πρόκειται για διαφορετικου τύπου τηλεοράσεις αλλά κι πάλι πρόκειται για μια έντονη αδυναμία του συγκεκριμένου μοντέλου.
Κατά τα άλλα, είναι αρκετά τίμια σε αυτό που προσφέρει (μέγεθος,τιμή, χρώματα) κι γενικά άμα της κάνετε χρήση για gaming/Netflix/PC, αποδίδει καλα.

Value for money. Very good picture after quite a bit of searching and adjustments. It has many capabilities and settings. The sound, while not bad, is nothing special.

Picture: Excellent, very good with the right settings, without the fake effects of course. Impressive HDR on PlayStation, local dimming makes a difference in the black levels of the image. You can now realistically perceive night scenes in the picture. Very good Dolby Vision where available.
Sound: Decent and just fine, it has Dolby Atmos simulation. We're talking about TV speakers, so the basic sound is just fine.
Overall: A no-brainer purchase at this price, first time I bought TCL, I'm in my 5th month, fully satisfied with amazing features and the software runs smoothly. Excellent picture, satisfactory sound, top-notch HDR, 120 Hz (where available), VRR, everything a gamer like me wants. And for movies, truly excellent.
Εικόνα: Άψογη, πάρα πολύ καλή με τις σωστές ρυθμίσεις, χωρίς τα ψεύτικα εφέ φυσικά. Εντυπωσιακό HDR σε playstation, το local dimming κάνει την διαφορά στο μαύρο της εικόνας. Καταλαβαίνεις την νύχτα στην εικόνα πλέον ρεαλιστικά. Πάρα πολύ καλό dolbt vision όπου είναι εφικτό.
Ήχος: Τίμιος και μία χαρά, έχει προσομοίωση dolby atmos. Μιλάμε για ηχεία τηλεόρασης, οπότε μία χαρά basic ήχος.
Γενικά: Με κλειστά μάτια αγορά σε αυτά τα λεφτά, πρώτη φορά αγόρασα TCL, είμαι στον 5ο μήνα, φουλ ικανοποιημένος με φοβερά χαρακτηριστικά και πάει σφαίρα το λογισμικό. Άψογη εικόνα, ικανοποιητικός ήχος, κορυφαίο HDR, 120 hz (όπου είναι εφικτό), vrr, ότι θέλει ένας gamer όπως είμαι εγώ. Και για ταινίες άψογη πραγματικά.
I bought it based on reviews here on Skroutz. I had never used TCL before. Easy and fast menu, the TV is not slow at all. Very good picture and sound. Clearly a top VFM choice.
Την αγόρασα βάσει αξιολογήσεων εδώ στο σκρουτζ. Δεν είχα ξαναχρησιμοποιήσει TCL. Εύκολο μενού και γρήγορο, η τηλεόραση δεν αργεί καθόλου. Πολύ καλή εικόνα και ήχος. Ξεκάθαρα top VFM επιλογή.
I believe it's the best in its category...I haven't tried it for gaming yet because I haven't bought a PS5 yet, but with the Hz I was looking for, I think it will be the best!

The TV is simply amazing, with beautiful colors and sound. The software it has (Google TV) is very fast with no delay when changing channels. I immediately got used to its operation without needing to read the user manual. Its price at 377 euros compared to what it offers is unbeatable. I highly recommend it.

Η τιμή της στα 377 ευρώ σε σχέση με αυτά που προσφέρει είναι αχτύπητη. Την συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα.

Very good picture (for its price), nice and user-friendly menu, many smart functions and plenty of ports so anyone can connect whatever they want. The only reason for the 4 stars is the viewing angles. If you are not exactly in front, the colors look pale (they whiten)

The TV is the same as the C6K and 50€ cheaper. The picture is fantastic and the sound is very good. It does need some adjustments though, and it's not the easiest thing. There are many videos on YouTube, but you get the best result if you follow the user suggestions in the C6K reviews! At the price of €377, for which I bought the 50", it's the best you can get...

Excellent picture quality and deep, beautiful sound. In gaming, it responds very well to PS5 graphics. In terms of value for money, it is one of the best TVs I have tried. For me personally, its sound is what makes the difference. Very good viewing angles, beautiful home screen, easy menu and setup. I highly recommend it.
Εξαιρετική ποιότητα εικόνας και βαθύς, ωραίος ήχος. Στο gaming ανταποκρινεται πολύ ωραία σε γραφικά PS5. Σε σχέση ποιότητας - τιμής, πρόκειται για μια από τις καλύτερες τηλεοράσεις που έχω δοκιμάσει. Για εμένα προσωπικά ο ήχος της είναι που κάνει την διαφορά. Πολύ καλές γωνίες θέασης, όμορφο home screen, εύκολο μενού και set up. Συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα.

it really disappoints me that it doesn't have a 3.5mm Jack out port to connect your headphones or other stereo speakers. and the manual is non-existent so you can see in a diagram what it has and what it doesn't have;

It is definitely a very VFM choice. On the positive side, you get a premium category product at a very low price. The sound is top-level and perhaps even better than TVs worth many times more. Its menu is incredibly fast, it doesn't lag anywhere, not even a little bit.
The issues that trouble me:
1. It doesn't keep the WIFI setting. Every time you have to select the already selected wifi from the previous time and press connect again. Fortunately, it keeps the passwords. It probably wants you to register with a profile and log in with that profile to keep your settings. (Probably, because I haven't done it yet)
2. The colors are not bad but I can't find suitable settings to fix them. They are not ideal, I feel they have a bit too much contrast. I have tried from its menu but unfortunately it has limited options. I don't know of any other obvious way nor have I looked into it further.
είναι σιγουρα πολύ VFM επιλογή. Στα θετικά είναι ότι παίρνεις ένα premium κατηγορίας προιόν σε πολύ χαμηλή τιμή. Ο ήχος είναι επιπέδου και ίσως καλύτερος και από τηλεοράσεις πολλαπλάσιας αξίας. Το μενου της ειναι απιστευτα γρηγορο, δεν κολλαει πουθενα ουτε ελαχιστα.
Τα θέματα που με προβληματίζουν:
1. δεν κρατάει την ρύθμιση του WIFI. Καθε φορά πρέπει να επιλέγεις το ήδη επιλεγμένο από την προηγούμενη φορά wifi και να ξαναπατήσεις σύνδεση. Ευτυχώς όμως κρατάει τα password. Μάλλον θέλει να κάνεις εγγραφή με προφιλ και login με το προφίλ αυτό για να σου κρατήσει τις ρυθμίσεις. (μαλλον, γιατί δεν το έχω πράξει ακόμη)
2. τα χρώματα δεν είναι άσχημα αλλά δεν μπορώ να βρω κατάλληλες ρυθμίσεις για να τα διορθώσω. Δεν είναι ιδανικά, νιώθω ότι έχουν λίγο ανεβασμένο constrast. έχω προσπαθήσει απο το μενου της αλλά δυστυχως έχει περιορισμένες επιλογες. Δεν ξέρω άλλο εμφανη τρόπο ούτε το εψαξα περαιτερω.

Anyone who checks the TV in the path Settings - System - Information - Product Information will find that we are talking about exactly the same product. Όποιος ψάξει στην τηλεόραση στη διαδρομή Ρυθμίσεις - Σύστημα - Πληροφορίες - Πληροφορίες προιόντος, θα το διαπιστώσει πως μιλάμε για το ίδιο ακριβώς προιόν. Purchase of 50" TCL C(61)K which is better than the TCL 50C(6)K, which also costs 50€+ more (and is at 120Hz instead of the C6K's 60Hz).
Also, the 50" TCL C(61)K has almost the same features as the TCL 50C(7)K, except for the Dimming zones, which are 180 compared to 336, Image clarity 700cd/m² compared to 2000cd/m², contrast ratio 6,000:1 compared to 5,000:1, and the speakers, which are B and O.
Yes, the 50C7K does have slightly better picture and sound, but it also has a 300€+ price difference. You can get almost another one for the difference!
So the 50C61K is definitely a value for money option for a 50-inch under 400€.
It has very good picture quality and lots of settings for everything, so you can adjust it to your preferences.
For your information, it also has Hybrid TV, which can be activated from the menu. Regardless of whether it is mentioned that it does not have it.

This particular TV was bought for the vacation home a few months ago, but an issue that came up with the main living room TV (a 42" LG C3 OLED that developed a vertical line with stuck pixels after 2.5 years of use, out of warranty) made me move it into the living room.
The biggest issue that led me to give it one star is the viewing angles, which are extremely limited.
From the side, or if you stand up a little, you immediately lose image quality. I found this effect quite pronounced (perhaps because I’m used to OLED); obviously these are different types of TVs, but still, this is a major weakness of this particular model.
Otherwise, it is quite fair for what it offers (size, price, colors) and generally, if you use it for gaming/Netflix/PC, it performs well.

Η συγκεκριμένη τηλεόραση αγοράστηκε για το εξοχικό πριν κάτι μηνες, όμως ένα θεματακι που έβγαλε η κυρία τηλεόραση του σαλονιού(42" LG C3 oled που έβγαλε κάθετη γραμμή με κολλημένα pixel στα 2.5 χρόνια χρήσης εκτός εγγύησης) με έκανε να την τοποθετήσω στο σαλόνι.
Το μεγαλύτερο θέμα που με οδήγησε στο να της ρίξω ένα αστέρι είναι οι γωνίες θέασης, οι οποίες είναι πάρα πολύ περιορισμένες.
Από το πλάι ή άμα σηκωθείς λίγο χάνεις κατευθείαν την ποιότητα της εικόνας. Μου φάνηκε αρκετά έντονο αυτό το φαινόμενο (ίσως έχοντας συνηθίσει την oled), προφανώς πρόκειται για διαφορετικου τύπου τηλεοράσεις αλλά κι πάλι πρόκειται για μια έντονη αδυναμία του συγκεκριμένου μοντέλου.
Κατά τα άλλα, είναι αρκετά τίμια σε αυτό που προσφέρει (μέγεθος,τιμή, χρώματα) κι γενικά άμα της κάνετε χρήση για gaming/Netflix/PC, αποδίδει καλα.

Picture: Excellent, very good with the right settings, without the fake effects of course. Impressive HDR on PlayStation, local dimming makes a difference in the black levels of the image. You can now realistically perceive night scenes in the picture. Very good Dolby Vision where available.
Sound: Decent and just fine, it has Dolby Atmos simulation. We're talking about TV speakers, so the basic sound is just fine.
Overall: A no-brainer purchase at this price, first time I bought TCL, I'm in my 5th month, fully satisfied with amazing features and the software runs smoothly. Excellent picture, satisfactory sound, top-notch HDR, 120 Hz (where available), VRR, everything a gamer like me wants. And for movies, truly excellent.

Ήχος: Τίμιος και μία χαρά, έχει προσομοίωση dolby atmos. Μιλάμε για ηχεία τηλεόρασης, οπότε μία χαρά basic ήχος.
Γενικά: Με κλειστά μάτια αγορά σε αυτά τα λεφτά, πρώτη φορά αγόρασα TCL, είμαι στον 5ο μήνα, φουλ ικανοποιημένος με φοβερά χαρακτηριστικά και πάει σφαίρα το λογισμικό. Άψογη εικόνα, ικανοποιητικός ήχος, κορυφαίο HDR, 120 hz (όπου είναι εφικτό), vrr, ότι θέλει ένας gamer όπως είμαι εγώ. Και για ταινίες άψογη πραγματικά.
I bought it based on reviews here on Skroutz. I had never used TCL before. Easy and fast menu, the TV is not slow at all. Very good picture and sound. Clearly a top VFM choice.
Την αγόρασα βάσει αξιολογήσεων εδώ στο σκρουτζ. Δεν είχα ξαναχρησιμοποιήσει TCL. Εύκολο μενού και γρήγορο, η τηλεόραση δεν αργεί καθόλου. Πολύ καλή εικόνα και ήχος. Ξεκάθαρα top VFM επιλογή.
I believe it's the best in its category...I haven't tried it for gaming yet because I haven't bought a PS5 yet, but with the Hz I was looking for, I think it will be the best!

The TV is simply amazing, with beautiful colors and sound. The software it has (Google TV) is very fast with no delay when changing channels. I immediately got used to its operation without needing to read the user manual. Its price at 377 euros compared to what it offers is unbeatable. I highly recommend it.

Very good picture (for its price), nice and user-friendly menu, many smart functions and plenty of ports so anyone can connect whatever they want. The only reason for the 4 stars is the viewing angles. If you are not exactly in front, the colors look pale (they whiten)

The TV is the same as the C6K and 50€ cheaper. The picture is fantastic and the sound is very good. It does need some adjustments though, and it's not the easiest thing. There are many videos on YouTube, but you get the best result if you follow the user suggestions in the C6K reviews! At the price of €377, for which I bought the 50", it's the best you can get...

Excellent picture quality and deep, beautiful sound. In gaming, it responds very well to PS5 graphics. In terms of value for money, it is one of the best TVs I have tried. For me personally, its sound is what makes the difference. Very good viewing angles, beautiful home screen, easy menu and setup. I highly recommend it.

it really disappoints me that it doesn't have a 3.5mm Jack out port to connect your headphones or other stereo speakers. and the manual is non-existent so you can see in a diagram what it has and what it doesn't have;

It is definitely a very VFM choice. On the positive side, you get a premium category product at a very low price. The sound is top-level and perhaps even better than TVs worth many times more. Its menu is incredibly fast, it doesn't lag anywhere, not even a little bit.
The issues that trouble me:
1. It doesn't keep the WIFI setting. Every time you have to select the already selected wifi from the previous time and press connect again. Fortunately, it keeps the passwords. It probably wants you to register with a profile and log in with that profile to keep your settings. (Probably, because I haven't done it yet)
2. The colors are not bad but I can't find suitable settings to fix them. They are not ideal, I feel they have a bit too much contrast. I have tried from its menu but unfortunately it has limited options. I don't know of any other obvious way nor have I looked into it further.
είναι σιγουρα πολύ VFM επιλογή. Στα θετικά είναι ότι παίρνεις ένα premium κατηγορίας προιόν σε πολύ χαμηλή τιμή. Ο ήχος είναι επιπέδου και ίσως καλύτερος και από τηλεοράσεις πολλαπλάσιας αξίας. Το μενου της ειναι απιστευτα γρηγορο, δεν κολλαει πουθενα ουτε ελαχιστα.
Τα θέματα που με προβληματίζουν:
1. δεν κρατάει την ρύθμιση του WIFI. Καθε φορά πρέπει να επιλέγεις το ήδη επιλεγμένο από την προηγούμενη φορά wifi και να ξαναπατήσεις σύνδεση. Ευτυχώς όμως κρατάει τα password. Μάλλον θέλει να κάνεις εγγραφή με προφιλ και login με το προφίλ αυτό για να σου κρατήσει τις ρυθμίσεις. (μαλλον, γιατί δεν το έχω πράξει ακόμη)
2. τα χρώματα δεν είναι άσχημα αλλά δεν μπορώ να βρω κατάλληλες ρυθμίσεις για να τα διορθώσω. Δεν είναι ιδανικά, νιώθω ότι έχουν λίγο ανεβασμένο constrast. έχω προσπαθήσει απο το μενου της αλλά δυστυχως έχει περιορισμένες επιλογες. Δεν ξέρω άλλο εμφανη τρόπο ούτε το εψαξα περαιτερω.
Very good picture and sound for its price. However, to avoid any misunderstanding, it is the same as the C6K. Anyone who checks the TV in the path Settings - System - Information - Product Information will find that we are talking about exactly the same product. Purchase of 50" TCL C(61)K which is better than the TCL 50C(6)K, which also costs 50€+ more (and is at 120Hz instead of the C6K's 60Hz).
Also, the 50" TCL C(61)K has almost the same features as the TCL 50C(7)K, except for the Dimming zones, which are 180 compared to 336, Image clarity 700cd/m² compared to 2000cd/m², contrast ratio 6,000:1 compared to 5,000:1, and the speakers, which are B and O.
Yes, the 50C7K does have slightly better picture and sound, but it also has a 300€+ price difference. You can get almost another one for the difference!
So the 50C61K is definitely a value for money option for a 50-inch under 400€.
It has very good picture quality and lots of settings for everything, so you can adjust it to your preferences.
For your information, it also has Hybrid TV, which can be activated from the menu. Regardless of whether it is mentioned that it does not have it.
