The book “Zitó” aims to fill a gap in the availability of auxiliary materials for teaching the Greek language in Correctional Facilities (prisons). However, it is also useful in terms of its structure and philosophy for any adult educator who wants to teach Greek as a second language.

The uniqueness of this manual is that it is based on the daily communication needs of inmates with internal and external administration structures and institutional bodies. It includes requests, dialogues, written and oral communication.
