A novel about Warhammer 40,000
Morven Val is the Holy Sister Superior and High Mistress of Tera, a warrior born and faithful daughter of the Emperor. Yet, she is simply mortal, she does not perform miracles, untouched by divinity, and although she was not chosen by the Lord of Humanity but by his living slaves, her faith is hers to govern and protect her.
Read it because it is a story of doubt and faith. It is a story about the light of the God-Emperor against the darkness of the Night Lords. Can Morven Val lead the faithful to victory, or will Ophelia Z’ fall into the hands of the traitors?
The Story When a monster from legend threatens the central world of Ophelia Z’, Morven Val defies the Imperial Senate and heads towards the planet’s defense. There, she finds a terrified world – the warlord Khol Rakul, known as the Death of Saints, has come for the faithful, and with his Hellederic and a group of Night Lords behind him, he plans to engulf the world in flames and blood. This is an encounter. A sacred world is tainted, and to defend it, Morven Val must arm a legion of Living Saints to have a chance of survival, let alone victory.
