This study attempts to investigate public order as an obstacle to the recognition of foreign judicial decisions, with an emphasis on the specific manifestation of substantive public order.

In twelve thematic sections, the opposition of a foreign judicial decision to substantive public order as an obstacle to recognition and enforcement is examined. Despite its substantial theoretical completeness, the work is very practically oriented. The case analysis in a separate section, where 13 cases that have occupied and continue to occupy practice and jurisprudence are analyzed, makes the work a useful tool for Judges and legal professionals.

With this content, the work addresses some of the classic issues raised by the reservation of public order, while also attempting to connect with modern challenges and to place them within a critical framework of reflection.
