I bought it to replace a Rowenta SO6510 which gave up the ghost rather unceremoniously. If it stands the test of time, it will definitely be one of the best purchases I have made. The differences compared to the aforementioned are many, and all for the better.

Its design is very elegant and the carrying handle very convenient. The liquid protection cover fits very well without giving the impression that it increases the size of the device. It comes with a two-meter cable, which is more than enough and certainly quite a bit longer than the previous one. On the bottom it has a switch that cuts off operation if it is tipped over, something that was unjustifiably absent from the SO6510 and is certainly a very positive addition in terms of safety.

Its buttons have been redesigned compared to the previous series (SO6510/SO6511) and are more comfortable in the hand. The selector is quite stiff and clicks much more reliably into the positions it should, something I did not have with the previous one, as sometimes if I handled it in a hurry the selector could remain between the two heating settings. It has three heating levels (1000/1400/2400 Watt) and not two as the Skroutz page says, with eco being for low heating but truly silent and much better in performance than I expected. The other two are quite noisy, but with the expected difference in performance. In turbo mode I did not notice more noise than in setting two. The thermostat is looser than the selector and has a feel of tiny steps accompanied by an almost imperceptible click at each micro-step. This gives a very good feel during use.

Regardless of what the Skroutz page says, the fan heater has a cold air function and it is quite satisfactory. In fact, my old one would have eaten its dust. Note that on cold, the fan runs at full speed and makes quite a bit of noise.

All this at a much better price than the SO6510/SO6511.
