Dark tea extract with an intense aroma and smoky flavor. It pairs perfectly with salty and lightly smoked tastes. The smoking process includes the following stages:

  • The leaves wither over a fire made from pine and cypress branches and trunks.
  • After "frying" and rolling, the leaves are pressed into wooden barrels, covered with fabric for fermentation and oxidation.
  • The leaves are "fried" and rolled again until they acquire a thin and straight shape.
  • They are placed in large bamboo baskets that are hung to dry and absorb the smoke aroma.

The result of this process is thin, glossy, black leaves.
