Wheel rim repair and painting device.

Complete equipment for the repair, renovation, and painting of rims with quality products from AVEX.ro. The DIY type equipment can be used by anyone following the attached instructions.

The device includes:

• 4 x 400 ml Champion spray paint
• 1 x 500 ml Champion clear varnish spray
• 1 x special putty for aluminum rims
• 1 x set of disposable gloves
• 1 x set of sandpapers with different grits for surface correction before and after applying the putty
• 1 x masking tape roll to cover the edge of the tire

Application instructions:

1. Carefully clean the rims to remove dust or grease.
2. Sand the damaged rims to repair them and create a rough surface for the putty to adhere to.
3. Clean again or blow off to remove any metal fragments.
4. Apply masking tape around the rim on the tire to protect it from paint fumes.
5. Apply the putty to the damaged rims using a spatula, stick, or your fingers (use the provided gloves) to fill in gaps or cracks.
6. After about 10 minutes, once the putty hardens, smooth the surface using fine grit sandpaper.
7. If the putty does not cover all gaps, repeat the process until all gaps are filled.
8. After sanding with the correction sandpaper, finish with progressively finer sandpaper to prepare the surface for painting.
9. If you want to paint the entire rim and not just the damaged areas, prepare the entire rim surface with fine sandpaper.
10. Clean the rim surface from any sanding residue.
11. Shake the spray paint for about 2 minutes to mix well, and apply it to the rim with smooth, even strokes.
12. After drying for about 10-20 minutes, apply the next coat of paint. It is recommended to apply 2-3 coats for optimal coverage.
13. Finally, after applying the paint coats and drying, apply the varnish coat in the same way as the paint coats.
14. For a high-gloss finish, apply multiple varnish coats with drying intervals between applications.

Is varnish application optional? In some cases, the paint surface is glossy enough without applying clear varnish.
