Full-type rim repair and painting kit. The kit includes quality products for the repair, renovation, and painting of rims from AVEX.ro. It is DIY type and can be used by anyone following the included instructions.

• 2 x 400 ml Champion paint spray
• 1 x 500 ml Champion clear lacquer spray
• 1 x special filling compound for aluminum rims
• 1 x set of disposable gloves
• 1 x set of sanding papers with various grits for surface repair before and after applying the filling compound
• 1 x roll of masking tape to protect the tire edge

Note: The rim shown in the image is for presentation purposes only and is not included in the package.

Application instructions:

1. Carefully clean the rims to remove dust or grease.
2. Sand the rim dents to repair them and create a rough surface for the filling compound.
3. Clean again or blow away metal debris resulting from sanding.
4. Apply masking tape around the rim, on the tire, to protect from paint fumes.
5. Apply the filling compound to the rim dents using a spatula, stick, or fingers (use the gloves included in the kit) to fill the dents or cracks.
6. After about 10 minutes, once the compound hardens, sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper.
7. If the compound did not cover all dents, repeat the process as many times as needed until all holes are filled.
8. After sanding with the sandpaper, finish with progressively finer sandpapers to prepare the surface for painting.
9. If you want to paint the entire rim, not just the dents, prepare the rim surface with fine-grit sandpaper.
10. Clean the rim surface from sanding residues.
11. Shake the paint spray for about 2 minutes to homogenize and apply it on the rim with smooth, even strokes.
12. After drying for about 10-20 minutes, apply the next paint layer.
13. It is recommended to apply 2-3 coats for optimal coverage.
14. Finally, after applying the paint layers and drying, apply the lacquer layer as you did the paint layers.
15. For a high gloss, apply multiple lacquer coats with drying intervals between applications. Lacquer application is optional; in some cases, the paint surface is glossy enough even without applying the clear lacquer.
