The Sonik SK-47 Carbon 7000 FD fishing reel is the latest generation of carp fishing reels, manufactured by the British company SONIK. This model combines excellent casting performance in a super-light package, making it ideal for all situations encountered in carp fishing, allowing you to reach distances you previously considered impossible. The reel has a sleek appearance thanks to its body and rotor made of high-strength carbon fiber material.
The reel features a very smooth slow-motion worm system that perfectly distributes both the main monofilament line and the braided leaders used, ensuring perfect line placement every time. Additionally, the micro-adjustable multi-disc brake system includes a quick brake adjustment, allowing fast modifications during resistance from a large carp, while maintaining smooth power feed to minimize hook distractions.
Additional features of the carp fishing reel include a line protection system (skirt) that prevents tangling or line landing during casting or retrieval, two metal clips allowing the simultaneous use of two points for maximum accuracy, as well as a large spool that minimizes line twisting. The 7+1 stainless steel bearings offer exceptionally smooth operation, and the oversized spool opening reduces line friction during casting. The CNC-machined aluminum handle features an ergonomic grip with a rubber surface, providing excellent handling and very smooth rotation.
