I bought it firstly because of its reputation and secondly for its eco-friendly composition. It is a bit expensive but it lasts quite a long time. However, it is not effective enough. It will take two or even three hands to completely clean the chain. I would prefer something more effective, especially for the first cleaning where I want to remove even the slightest trace of factory lubricant in order to successfully apply my own.

Cleaner/solvent for bicycle chains and transmission systems from the English brand Muc-Off. I bought it because the, in my opinion, great Motorex Easy Clean 500 ml disappeared from the market - fortunately temporarily. Therefore, my review will be in relation to that. Well, it does its job well, although it doesn't have the nozzle of Motorex, so it sprays a little "everywhere" so take precautions. Even though it is biodegradable, it has a strong bubblegum-like smell that lingers on the bike - and in the space - which is annoying. So, spray/clean/oil your bike outside and ventilate it well before storing it! I'm not exaggerating at all, another "colleague" told me the same thing... I fell for it and my storage still smells! Finally, its price is considered high (€5 more expensive than Motorex). Therefore, I recommend it only if you can't find the aforementioned product.
