Description

A game of luck and tactics for 2 to 6 players. Players try to play all their tiles by matching one of the two numbers shown on each tile. The first player to play all their tiles wins.

Dominoes is an interesting and exciting form of entertainment that doesn’t require a large number of players. You can even play with just two people, such as with your son or daughter, without losing any of its appeal.

Before you begin, turn all the tiles face down and shuffle them thoroughly. Then each player randomly takes 7 tiles from the set and places them in front of them. The player with the 15-15 tile goes first. If nobody has it, the player with the 14-14 double goes first, followed by 13-13, and so on. In rare cases, neither player may have a double tile. In that case, the player with the tile with the highest total number of points goes first.

The next player adds one of their tiles, provided it has a number matching the one shown on the previous tile. If they don’t have a tile with the required number, they draw one from the set. If it matches, they join it to the chain; otherwise, they keep it.

The first player to get rid of all their tiles wins. The other players are charged the points shown on their tiles. The first player to accumulate more than 100 points loses.

A game of dominoes often ends early when a situation known as a “block” occurs. In this case, neither player can make a move, even though they have already used the “draw pile.” The players count their points. The player with the lower total scores no points, while the other player is awarded the difference between the winner’s and loser’s points.
