Aurora celebrates human curiosity and exploration with the Ancient Maps collection, which is a limited edition and includes five pens inspired by historic discovery maps. Each pen symbolizes a new world revealed through exploration.
Key features of the pen include:
- A spherical astrolabe at the top of the cap, representing an explorer's navigation tool.
- A wind pattern at the bottom of the pen, symbolizing ancient cartography.
- A special clip with rings reflecting the sea and navigation.
The Brother Mauro map is the second one featured in this collection. Created in 1450, it is one of the most significant documents of cartography during the transitional period and is housed in the Marciana Library in Venice.
