This book was written according to the new curriculum for the Physics course of the 2nd grade - Orientation Group of Positive Studies.
In Volume A, the first three chapters of the teaching material for the Physics course are included and thoroughly analyzed.
The first chapter refers to curvilinear motions. Here, horizontal projection and uniform circular motion are examined. Additionally, in this chapter, the sections: principle of independence of motions and non-uniform circular motion, are provided for those who wish to extend their study and delve deeper into the course material.
In the second chapter - conservation of momentum - concepts such as the system of bodies and momentum are examined, the force is connected with the change of momentum, and phenomena such as collision are described, utilizing one of the most important principles of Physics, the principle of conservation of momentum.
The third chapter refers to the kinetic theory of gases. In this chapter, the laws governing the behavior of gases are developed, the ideal gas is defined, and the state equation is formulated and applied. Then, the assumptions on which the kinetic theory was based are provided, and the first significant results arising from its application are analyzed.
