Description & Specifications

The Extol Premium grafting saws are equipped with three interchangeable cutting tips in U and V shapes for precise and tight grafting. They are suitable for grafting all types of plants, especially effective on fruit trees and vineyards.

The process involves placing the plant stem to be grafted into the cutting support and applying steady pressure to the handle to make the cut. The cut should be firm enough to fully separate the two parts without tearing the untouched bark.

One stage of the process is cutting a shoot with 1-2 buds from the healthy part of the plant and placing it onto the rootstock at the freshly cut area. The cavity of the tip should always face the rootstock, and the shoot should be at least 10 cm away from the bud.

After correctly joining the two parts, secure the graft with a grafting tape made of paper or cloth. Optionally, you can use Teflon tape or wax at 80 degrees to seal the graft.
