Kaspe Protective Helmet

It protects against electric shock up to 440V AC and offers protection against falling objects according to standard EN397.

EN397 Specifications - Industrial Safety Helmets

The standard specifies requirements regarding the properties and marking of industrial protective helmets. It defines manufacturing requirements, mandatory and optional protective properties. It provides test methods for mandatory and optional tests of industrial protective helmets.

According to the standard's instructions, each helmet must bear a marking with an embossed or printed label containing the following information:

  • Standard number
  • Name or identification number of the manufacturer
  • Year and quarter of production
  • Helmet type
  • Size or range of sizes
  • Abbreviation for the shell material
