Product Description: LPC capacitors are used for power factor correction of reactive inductive consumers (transformers, electric motors, rectifiers, fluorescent lamps, and others from industrial networks), either individually or in combination with automatic capacitor bank systems.
- Material: Made from self-regenerating metallized polypropylene with low losses.
- Filling: Dry capacitors filled with non-toxic and environmentally friendly polyurethane, providing excellent heat dissipation properties.
- Construction: Placed inside aluminum housings with a pressure relief disconnect system.
- Connections: Available in two types: faston type for power up to 5 kVAr and terminal type with screw for higher ratings.
Features:
- Self-regeneration: Ensures that electrical discharge will not cause a short circuit.
- Overpressure disconnection system: Interrupts internal connections when the terminal cover expands. Discharge resistor: Ensures safe voltage discharge within 3 minutes, according to standard EN-60831-1/2.
The ETI LPC capacitors are equipped with discharge resistors, ensuring that this time is less than 2 minutes.
