The reset procedure for the remote is as follows: Press and hold simultaneously the button with the locked padlock and the button with the unlocked padlock for 3 seconds, until the indicator light stays on continuously. Code cloning is done using the following process: Place the two remotes (ORIGINAL and CLONE) as close to each other as possible. Press and hold the button on the clone where you want to store the code copied from the ORIGINAL, until the clone's indicator light remains steadily lit.
