In Codenames, two rival spy chiefs know the secret identities of 25 agents. Their teammates, however, know these agents only by their codenames — simple, seemingly random words like “chocolate,” “sunflower,” or even “carrot.” The goal is simple: each spy chief wants their team to identify all their agents first, without accidentally revealing the assassin. To play, place 25 cards, each with a word. The spy chiefs share a key card that shows which words correspond to each team’s agents, innocent bystanders, and the assassin.
