The Connects2 D-42xbm004-0 steering wheel control adapter connects to a factory BMW head unit with a 40-pin Quadlock connector and provides an OEM SWC output via a 3.5 mm jack or bare wires. A MULTILEAD connection cable is included for Alpine, Beat, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, LG, Nakamichi, Panasonic, Philips, Pioneer, Sony and Zenec head units.

Suitable for vehicles with a factory Business head unit, without the factory Professional navigation system and without a factory amplified sound system. Before connecting, the factory CD changer, TV tuner and telephone modules must be disconnected. DIP switch settings depend on the manufacturer of the aftermarket head unit.
