The Mission Air® MA ICE-20 heating cable limits ice formation and snow accumulation in outdoor areas such as sidewalks, entrances, and parking lots. It can also be used to protect pipes, roofs, and gutters from frost. It has a constant resistance and one-sided power supply, while its output remains constant regardless of the ambient temperature.
The cable is installed in a concrete screed, asphalt layers, or a base layer beneath paving stones and stone slabs. It must not be cut or shortened, nor should it touch or overlap itself during installation. A suitable thermostat is required for operation.
