The Mission Air® MA ICE-20 heating cable limits the formation of ice and snow in outdoor areas such as sidewalks, parking areas, and entrance ramps. It can also be used to protect pipes, roofs, and gutters from frost. It is self-regulating, with a linear output of 20 W/m, and operates at a constant output per meter regardless of weather conditions.

The cable is installed in a concrete or asphalt layer, or in a base layer beneath paving stones or stone slabs. A suitable thermostat is required for operation. It must not be shortened or cut, and must not come into contact with or overlap itself.
