Electrolysis is based on the production of chlorine from salt, which is used as the raw material. The advantages of using this method include:

Installation is easy, with the electrolysis cell placed in the piping system of the circulation unit and a control panel installed near the pool’s main panel.

Initially, the required amount of salt is added, once dissolved, to the pool water. Next, the salted water, through recirculation, passes through the electrolysis cell, where the salt (sodium chloride) is broken down.

The chlorine produced acts as a disinfectant as it disperses into the pool water. As a result, the chlorine produced from salt is a friendlier form compared to industrial chlorine, leaving a more pleasant feeling on the skin.
