I needed something like a sofa arm so I could rest things on it while relaxing and at the same time be able to watch on my phone or tablet when I drink coffee or eat. It made things so much easier! Sturdy bamboo with a glossy finish on top, the side legs are non-slip and attach to the sofa, it also has a base where you can place your phone or tablet and rotate it to any angle you want. Especially at this price, it is recommended.
