Bay laurel (Laurus nobilis) is an evergreen plant with dark green, leathery leaves and a strong aroma. The product contains bay leaves and originates from Greece, Imathia Prefecture. Bay leaves are widely used in cooking, in sauces and dishes, and can also be prepared as infusions.

Properties:

  • Improves digestion and relieves colic.
  • Soothing effect for better sleep.
  • Facilitates menstrual cycle regulation.
  • Relieves arthritis and rheumatism pain.
  • Enhances hair growth through bay oil.

Usage: 1 tablespoon of crushed bay leaves or 3-4 leaves are steeped in 1 glass of boiling water and left for 10-15 minutes before consumption. In cooking, the leaves can be used in various dishes, such as stew or meat and fish dishes.

Storage: In a dark and cool place (5°C – 15°C).
