From Cyprus

  • The best you can get for its price, I use it as a secondary switch upstairs and it communicates with the other switch which is also Ubiquiti. Setup is super easy, they can operate directly as unmanaged switches and as managed when you adopt them with the app on your phone or PC. The only thing left is to get a Ubiquiti router so I can set up VLANs (the provider's router doesn't allow me) with a headache-free ecosystem to isolate vulnerable smart devices so they don't communicate with my NAS.

  • Very stable, you set it up and forget about it, I had to get the corresponding (Ubiquiti) PoE Injector, I have placed the switch on the balcony protected and I have forgotten about it

For a small office where you want to connect your PC, laptop, and a TV, it's amazing.
It sets up easily and works immediately even without setting up the Unify server (which can also be done on a PC).
This particular one is only worth it if there is a Unify ecosystem at home/office (or at least a SOHO infrastructure with other managed devices) so that someone can fully take advantage of its switching capabilities for traffic separation in VLAN, etc.

Personally, I believe there is no need for someone to get it for use as a simple switch since there are countless options for unmanaged switches that are half the price.
