The BP handheld scanner reads 1D barcodes using a 650 nm visible laser diode and supports manual scanning. It connects via USB or serial port and can operate with or without a keyboard, automatically recognizing the computer type. It features an 8-bit ARM microprocessor and decoding and correction algorithms.
It supports keyboard programming, prefix and suffix settings, and macros for replacing one barcode string with another. Its housing is made of ABS and polycarbonate, and the trigger withstands up to 50 million presses.
