The tube is shaped from selected high-quality soft synthetic rubber TPR SBS. The partial stiffness of this tube prevents unpleasant vibrations during surfacing and avoids reduction of the air passage diameter under the pressure of the mask strap. Its elasticity and ability to return to its original shape, even after prolonged or several days of deformation, are due to the presence of helical spirals and folds at the bottom of the tube. This reduces noise in case of collision with rocks and allows the snorkel to bend easily if stuck, enabling hole fishing. These features make the snorkel ideal for placement under the mask strap as well as for easy storage.
The ergonomic design of the tube makes it extremely comfortable to be positioned correctly behind the head while maintaining ease of breathing on the surface. It also helps keep it effortlessly in the mouth.
