Description

Description

From drag tracks to asphalt and dirt roads, racing performance demands racing-level protection. This is why motorsport teams and enthusiastic drivers rely on Valvoline's VR1 racing lubricant.

Valvoline's exclusive formula, with high zinc and phosphorus content, is specifically designed for modern and classic high-performance engines both on and off the track, including flathead and performance cam engines.

It is chemically engineered to reduce internal friction and enhance power output while protecting critical engine parts from wear under extreme racing conditions. Its high load-carrying characteristics, minimal foaming under pressure, and maximum resistance to thermal degradation ensure stability and lubrication.

Valvoline VR1 Racing Motor Oil is recommended for high-performance gasoline engines as well as engines burning fully or partially alcoholic fuels. It is not recommended for vehicles with catalytic converters or in wet clutches.

  • Lately I have bought several one-liter synthetic Valvoline 10W-60 bottles from the same store. I noticed recently that half of them say synthetic oil on the label and the other half say semi-synthetic, with a slightly different label. As an oil, it is worse than Castrol 10W-60 (maybe I am using the semi-synthetic ones). The only thing left to see is what differences there are between the synthetic and the semi-synthetic.
