Description & Specifications

The Traxxas TRX-4 is not just a remote-controlled truck, but a complete 4WD vehicle platform that has defined the "scale and trail crawler" category. Designed for ultimate durability and realistic off-road experience, the TRX-4 combines Traxxas's innovative technology with stunning detail in appearance, mimicking famous vehicles.

Portal Axles

The most recognizable feature of it. These axles have internal gears in the wheels, allowing the chassis to be positioned much higher than the center of the wheel. This provides a huge ground clearance, enabling the TRX-4 to pass over obstacles that other vehicles would get "stuck" under.

High/Low Gearbox

Most models feature a two-speed gearbox controlled by the remote control. The slow setting ("Low") provides enormous torque for climbing rocks, while the fast setting ("High") allows the vehicle to move at higher speeds on trails.

T-Lock™ Differentials from Remote Control (T-Lock™ Differentials)

The controller can lock and unlock the front and rear differentials directly from the transmitter. This provides the flexibility to have "open" differentials for a smaller turning radius on fast runs or "locked" for maximum traction and four-wheel drive in extreme climbing conditions.

Waterproof Electronics

Like most Traxxas vehicles, the TRX-4 is designed for action in all weather conditions. Its electronics are waterproof, allowing it to pass through water, mud, and snow without any fear.
