The Artpol drill bit with a diameter of 3 mm is made from HSS 4241 high-speed steel and is designed for drilling metal. It has a right-hand Type N spiral flute and a cylindrical shank with the same diameter as the drill bit. The oxide coating reduces friction and the risk of swarf sticking.

It is suitable for alloy and carbon steels with a hardness of up to 250 BHN, grey cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and hard plastics. It has a 118° point angle and complies with the DIN-338 standard. The use of cutting fluid is recommended.
