Its surface has an oxide coating, which reduces the coefficient of friction and the risk of chip buildup, helping improve drilling performance. It is suitable for alloy and carbon steels with a hardness of up to 250 Bhn, gray cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and hardened plastics. The use of coolant is recommended.
