το 7.1 surround έχει νόημα σε κονσόλες(μέσω usb όχι 3.5mm) ή μόνο σε pc?

ναι, σε ps4 και σε ps5 ειχε διαφορα ο ηχος με ενεργοποιημενο το 7.1
Προσωπικά εγώ ούτε σε pc δεν χρησιμοποιώ το surround γιατί αλλοιώνει λίγο τον ήχο για εμένα. Πολλά παιχνίδια έχουν ήδη ρύθμιση για surround sound και χρησιμοποιώ αυτό. Οπότε το surround σε κονσόλα δεν πρέπει να είναι ο λόγος που να μην πάρεις αυτά τα ακουστικά γιατί είναι πραγματικά πολύ καλά.
