The new educational book MODERN GREEK for the 3rd High School Vocational School – Theory and Teaching Suggestions is a comprehensive teaching proposal targeted at the new evaluation method and the material of the Bank of Structured Difficulty Questions (I.E.P.).

It is organized into three (3) axes:

1. Modern Greek Language – The Theory [with applications and exercises drawn from texts of the Question Bank]. It is structured into three (3) parts, according to the three Activities of the Examination for the non-literary text:

• 1st Activity: Text comprehension – Methods of persuasion – Summary
• 2nd Activity: The structure and language of the text
• 3rd Activity: Production of discourse

2. Literature – The Theory [with applications and exercises drawn from texts of the Question Bank]. It is structured into three (3) parts, according to the three Activities of the Examination for the literary text:

• 1st Activity: Understanding literary text
• 2nd Activity: The language of the literary text
• 3rd Activity: Interpretation of literary text – Reader's response

3. Forty-four (44) Teaching Suggestions. Each Teaching Suggestion includes:

• Information material for the thematic unit under study
• Evaluation Criteria (44 in total) according to the exam method of the course in the Nationwide Exams

The edition is accompanied by an Answer Book that contains the detailed answers to all the exercises of the Theory and the Evaluation Criteria.
