General Information about Eggs:

• The number of males in the flock should be sufficient to ensure a high percentage of fertile eggs.
• Do not expose the eggs to sunlight and warm places, as this may start embryonic development, which will be interrupted by the death of the embryo.
• Eggs should be collected shortly after laying and sorted by size, shape, and shell pores.
• Prefer medium-sized and uniform eggs.
• Eggs should be clean and free of stuck droppings.
• Washing eggs intended for hatching is prohibited.
• Eggs that are hard or have a pointed shape often produce weak chicks.
• Do not place eggs with hard shells, as they may prevent the chick from hatching.
• Eggs should be stored with the pointed end down for at least 24 hours at normal temperature (16 - 17 °C) before entering the incubator.
• For satisfactory hatching, it is important not to keep the eggs for more than 7 days.
