The sowing of lettuce is staggered (repeated). It starts with sowing in a greenhouse in trays for the period of February-March, and from April to August, it is sown directly in the field.
The small plants are transplanted about a month after sowing, that is, as soon as they reach a height of 3-4 cm.
In the case of direct sowing in the field, the plants must be thinned out, so that they are spaced 25 cm. apart.
The harvest is done approximately 80-90 days after sowing. If you sow in August, there are chances to harvest in the fall.
