I bought it for around €50 from a gas station for 4L and I consider it quite value for money. It protects the engine very well from wear and overall the engine runs smoothly.
The positive thing about the Castrol Magnatec 5W-40 C3 series is that the oil additives actually create a protective film on the metal parts of the engine, especially during cold starts.
The negative thing I noticed is that the oil turns black relatively faster and seems to create black sludge more easily compared to other oils I have tried, such as Shell 5W-40.
I tested it on an Opel Corsa C 1.3 diesel from 2004 without DPF and the engine's operation was very good, without increased oil consumption and with smooth operation.
Personally, I would recommend it for year-round use, but I would change the oil at most every 8,000 km to keep the engine in good condition. I also believe that for cars with DPF, due to the C3 specification (low SAPS), it is a very good and economical choice.

Το αγόρασα γύρω στα 50€ από βενζινάδικο για 4L και θεωρώ ότι είναι αρκετά value for money. Προστατεύει πολύ καλά τον κινητήρα από φθορές και γενικά ο κινητήρας δουλεύει ομαλά.
Το θετικό με τη σειρά Castrol Magnatec 5W-40 C3 είναι ότι τα πρόσθετα του λαδιού όντως δημιουργούν ένα φιλμ προστασίας πάνω στα μεταλλικά μέρη του κινητήρα, ειδικά στο κρύο ξεκίνημα.
Το αρνητικό που παρατήρησα είναι ότι το λάδι μαυρίζει σχετικά πιο γρήγορα και φαίνεται να δημιουργεί πιο εύκολα μαύρη λάσπη σε σχέση με άλλα λάδια που έχω δοκιμάσει, όπως π.χ. το Shell 5W-40.
Το δοκίμασα σε Opel Corsa C 1.3 diesel του 2004 χωρίς DPF και η λειτουργία του κινητήρα ήταν πολύ καλή, χωρίς αυξημένη κατανάλωση λαδιού και με ομαλή λειτουργία.
Προσωπικά θα το πρότεινα για χρήση όλο τον χρόνο, αλλά θα έκανα αλλαγή λαδιών το πολύ κάθε 8.000 χλμ για να διατηρείται ο κινητήρας σε καλή κατάσταση. Επίσης πιστεύω ότι για αυτοκίνητα με DPF, λόγω της προδιαγραφής C3 (low SAPS), αποτελεί μια πολύ καλή και οικονομική επιλογή.
