The Mindbug: Battlefruit Galaxy board game is a standalone card game for 2 players, in which hybrid creatures battle each other. The Plum Marines protect the galaxy from the invasion of the Eggplant Space Whales and Celery Sandworms, while players activate their creatures’ abilities with Octonite energy.
Octonite tokens activate powerful abilities, while the Charge mechanic allows players to distribute them among one or more creatures. Players can combine cards to make use of Octonite, but they must be careful: their opponent can use a Mindbug to take control of a creature that has been summoned. The game can be played on its own or combined with any other Mindbug set.
